I am delighted to offer a variety of in-person classes to support your yoga practice and our lovely yoga community.
Saturday Sun Salutation Class

£115 for a six-week series
This series of classes focuses on the practice of sun salutation postures in the tradition of hatha (sun and moon) yoga.
The classes are slow and careful leading to the gradual cultivation of strength, alignment of the muscular and skeletal systems, freedom in the breath and vitality in body and mind.
The classes are suitable for all levels from complete beginners to more advanced students who want to explore the full potential of each step of the sequence of poses that together create the transformational potential of sun salutations.
The classes also Incorporate meditation, breath work and an introduction to Qi Gong (energy cultivation practices), which compliments the regenerative power of the sun salutation practice. With a regular practice, there is a feeling of coming back to life as mind, breath, body and life force (Qi) come into alignment.

Join Gillian in lovely cosy loft space above the Nor Gift Shop in the courtyard of Beckenham Place Park. Six mats only for a small group experience and plenty of individual attention.
Get ready for the weekend – a perfect way to de-stress at the end of the week.
The spinal release practice combines breath work with deep relaxation in a slow and careful sequence of postures designed to release tension in the whole body. The practice brings relief to aching backs, shoulders and neck and restores the nervous system to a state of equilibrium, creating the conditions for the natural healing potential of the body to unfold.
There is nothing like the state of peace and calm that arises from the spinal release practice and the cumulation of this class on a daily basis is transformational for everyone but especially those students who suffer from chronic physical or emotional tension and/or insomnia.

£60 per hour (appointments of two hours are usual)
Do you feel that there is a particular issue coming up in your life, or in your yoga or meditation practice that you would like to begin to explore in a one-to-one session? Or perhaps you would like to begin to develop your own home practice and would like some advice about how to craft your sequence or routine.
One-to-one sessions make possible a careful enquiry into the knowledge that is to be gained from the limitations, frustrations, injuries, particular areas of resistance, or curiosity that arise as your practice evolves over time.

Join me at the Honour Oak Wellness Rooms for a 90 minute spinal release class. We move slowly through a range of breath work exercises and spinal rotations to gradually regulate the nervous system, create a state of deep relaxation, and bring about a health-promoting state of balance and ease over time.
We work in a small group setting in the lovely cosy loft studio at Honor Oak Wellness Rooms, with only five people in each class, which makes possible a precious opportunity to benefit from individual attention.

Join me in the lovely spacious, sunlit location Yoga Space on Saturday mornings at the members’ room at Beckenham Rugby Club.
This is a slow and careful class suitable for all levels from complete beginners to more advanced yogis. Careful alignment instructions come together over time to bring muscles and bones back into correct relationship, to release tension from the mind and to energise, balance and revitalise the whole body.
Class is followed by coffee, fruit and yoghurt, Join out lovely yoga community for post-class refreshments on the sunny terrace outside the studio.
